Poker Aces references two aces being dealt pre-flop. It’s the strongest attainable before theflop hand inholdem Poker. But despite this a great many gamblers end up on the wrong end when given these cards.
When you’re dealt a set of Aces, you just don’t drop out pre-flop. You’re positioned with the greatest possible hand at this stage of the game. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you simply go all-in? I’d say absolutely no to that.
Keep in mind, you’re looking to generate as much money out of this strong position. You need to maximise the opportunity. Going all-in will simply scare most competitors into dropping out without placing a bet.
If you’re in the starting seat (1st or second to place a bet), you will place a single bet. Any person with a decent hand will call, hopefully somebody might raise. If there has been a raise don’t hop to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your tactic will be to eliminate anyone that could be able to get a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise aggressively, if you are lucky you’ll trick 1 player into believing that you are tricking.
If you are in the center or late position (near the last to cast your bet) you will watch as every player calls and then raise. Even with you holding a pair of aces, if possible try to abstain from a show-down. Guard your hand by making others to fold after the flop. If you don’t abolish your competition you chance losing your hand.
