Have you observed the new PokerPro hold’em poker tables? The very first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about two weeks back when I took a brief vacation with my mother to the WinStar Casino in Oklahoma.

As I anxiously waited for my name to be summoned at the live tables, I observed how the other individuals around the PokerPro tables interface with one another. It was pretty intriguing to say the very least. Because the poker table was controlled by a computer, there were no poker chips to do any chip hints, no cards to shuffle and the actual live encounter was boring. Perhaps I was the only one that recognized this, but I did notice the players at the table had a dull quality to them. The reason behind this may be because there was no human conversation with the croupier, the atmosphere was relatively dull and the gamblers looked tired. It was almost as if I was viewing a live version of a web based hold’em poker room instead of sitting with hot blooded humans. It was a tiny bit creepy and I continued to have flash backs to an episode of The Next Generation and the holodeck malfunctioned.

Since the waiting time for the reside tables was over an hour, I made a decision to see how the casino game play was and to understanding this new holdem poker gaming technologies. After playing a few hands, I truly felt like I was playing at house. The lack of activity in the table was the primary reason. I prefer to shuffle my chips, stack my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those items are possible at these digital tables.

Another thing I discovered was how the program dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I played a good deal of hands in the PokerPro table and noticed that the wager on was a whole lot like an internet based holdem poker site. That might have been just a coincidence, but I found it to become extremely odd.

After wagering a few rounds with this "new hold em poker technology", I determined that the PokerPro tables had been not for me. I’m far better off wagering hold’em poker on the web at residence and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling establishment were to have rid of the are living poker tables, I think they would shed a great deal of players.
