Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the wild west in a great game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the croupier, unlike the majority of other poker games that gamblers compete against other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginner players do not need to be concerned about other, more experienced people taking their cash.

Another Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game pace, beginners should be able to take their time and scheme without needing to make frenzied decisions.

It’s also simpler to play for a long time with just a tiny bit of cash since, to not win, both of your hands has to be under each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the dealer is given 7 cards face down.

A five card hand and a 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
