Web poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years many variants on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the house instead of each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the croupier announcing "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different gamblers acquire five cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you need to in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call bet’s value is on same level to your original wager, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your wager goes immediately to the dealer. After the wager is the showdown. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, with a sum on par with the ante. If the dealer does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The dealer pays out cash equal to your initial bet and set expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
